Yoga & Hiking Retreat - Taking Your Om Away from Home
What “is” a yoga retreat or what is this retreat going to entail exactly?
A yoga retreat is taking your yoga on vacation with you - an “OM” away from home! This particular retreat will take you to New Hampshire’s stunning lakes region for 4 days & 3 nights. There will be a morning and evening practice, a lot of down time & free time that can be spent reading, writing, relaxing, walking, running, bicycling (*if you choose to bring a bike), meditating, exploring the locale area from it’s quaint country stores, shops & more! Who is this retreat right for & how advanced does my yoga practice need to be?
This retreat is intended for adults 18 years of age & older who want a destination getaway! The yoga classes will be all-levels - no prior yoga experience is necessary. You can expect to come as your are and leaving feeling even better!
What is the cost & what is included?
Transportation & lunch are the only things NOT included in the retreat rates. The rates will vary depending on which accommodation you choose. What is included:
- A 3 night stay at the Pollard Shores Lake Houses with breakfast on Friday & Saturday, dinner Thurs, Fri & Sat. & Brunch on Sunday
- Yoga classes taught by Leah *see itinerary for schedule of classes
- WiFi Internet access

What is NOT included in the rates?
Lunch, alcohol such as wine or beer, soft drinks such as Coke, Sprite etc...
Do I have to attend all of the yoga sessions, do I have to go hiking, running or participate in the OM Vision Workshop?
All of the activities are optional. I invite you to be guided for the experience layed out; but ultimately you’re the creator of your experience. Perhaps getting outside your comfort zone might just open you to new experiences and profound joy!

What do I need to bring?
Clothing suitable for yoga practice
Clothing suitable for fall weather, including a warm sweater & / sweatshirts A jacket suitable for fall weather in New England knowing some days can get quite cold
Sneakers, casual shoes, hiking boots (sneakers will work just fine for hiking, but feel free to bring boots if you have them)
Backpack (useful if you’re planning to hike)
Travel bag to take small things from a wallet, book, journal to personals such as eyeglasses, an extra layer of clothing etc...
Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, soap, sunscreen, lotion, contact lens care, blowdryer, hairbrush etc...)
A refillable water bottle
Journal & a few pens
A hat & gloves if you know you tend to get cold being outdoors and plan to spend time outside
