 Yoga Reaches Out is an incredibly inspiring and impactful event where nearly 1,200 of us will come together to practice yoga lead by some of the region’s most beloved & impactful teachers on behalf of Boston Children’s Hospital & the mission of Yoga Reaches Out.   Expect an incredible vibration of energy,  practice yoga, browse jewelry, clothing, wellness offerings from talented local vendors, refresh with delicious foods and drinks and let your body and heart move to phenomenal guest musicians ALL while taking a part in making a huge difference!

Barry's Boot Camp & a Cool Down Yoga Flow Supporting Best Buddies


This is the ultimate summer workout and it's all for a great cause! In celebration of its newest studio, BARRY'S is teaming up with lululemon and hosting a fitness class in support of Best Buddies

The class will make the most of the summer weather, splitting time between a treadmill workout within Barry’s studio at The Street, and an outdoor weight workout on The Green at The Street. lululemon's Yoga Ambassador Leah Croteau will lead a 15-minute cool down flow, and DJ Hectik will provide beats throughout the entire workout. The $10 admission directly benefits Best Buddies. The class entails the following: 

  • A 20 minute Barry’s treadmill and weight workout at Barry's at The Street

  • A 20 minute Barry’s cardio and weight workout on The Green at The Street

  • A 15 minute lululemon yoga cool down on The Green at The Street

Best Buddies is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Currently, Best Buddies Massachusetts chapter serves 6,700+ participants, including 155 school friendship chapters, and 118 jobs participants. Programs help individuals with IDD form meaningful friendships, secure successful jobs, live independently, and improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills.


What can I bring to the event?

Wear workout clothes, including running shoes, and bring a yoga mat. A bottle of water wouldn't hurt since we'll be sweating a lot!

What is Barry's?

Founded in Los Angeles in 1998, Barry’s was conceived to make getting into the best shape possible and fun. Barry’s signature method utilizes the most effective combination of High Intensity Training (HIT) by incorporating 25-30 minutes of interval-based cardiovascular routines on treadmills with 25-30 minutes of strength training using free weights, resistance bands, and more. The workout is results driven — pushing participants to their physical and mental limits — and efficient. A one-hour class incinerates fat, burns up to 1,000 calories, and releases stress. Additionally, the studio calendar is uniquely customized to focus on a different body part each day of the week, offering participants a complete, full body fitness regime. Barry’s promises that no class is ever the same so participants never plateau.

Barry’s classes are held in dim lit, red studios to motivating playlists. The atmosphere adds an element of excitement to the workout while enabling participants to dig deeper and lose themselves in the physical moment. Barry’s instructors coach and motivate the group to run and work harder than they ever thought possible. Working side by side as a community creates strong bonds between participants who inspire, support, and hold each other accountable inside and outside of the studio.

Barry’s at The Street features a 42+ person studio with 21 custom designed Woodway treadmills, which are known for their friction free surfaces and are the treadmill of choice for elite athletes. Studio amenities include men's and women's locker rooms with premium products, Barry’s own retail line, and a signature Fuel Bar, serving a newly introduced menu of healthy and energizing smoothies and snacks, each designed to help clients reach their fitness goals.

Wake with an option to begin the day with a challenging vinyasa flow, have the day to explore, to relax, read a book, enjoy a walk, run or hike in the lush Vermont woods or find your way to the water and an option to unwind it all through an evening slower flow.  And food....  You'll have a skilled chef preparing delicious homemade meals to satiate your appetite and accommodate special dietary needs.

Fall Yoga & Hiking Day Trip

WHAT:  Come join Leah Croteau & fellow yogis for a gorgeous fall day in the lakes region of New Hampshire.  We will begin the day with a yoga practice followed by a delicious breakfast prepared for you.  A little downtime for readying and then we’ll leave the retreat site & meet in the parking lot of Mt. Morgan.  There’s a choice to hike Mt. Rattlesnake (1 mile to summit & rated easy) or to hike Mt. Morgan (approx 1.7 miles to summit, rated moderate w/ difficult inclines in parts).  We’ll set off to hike amidst the gorgeous vibrant yellows, burnt oranges & bursting red foliage and you can expect jaw dropping views looking out from either summit!  Plan to pack a lunch & / snacks to enjoy at the top or along the way.  Post hike, we’ll meet back at the retreat house where you will end our day with slow flow yoga practice.

WHEN:  Saturday, November 7th 2015  Yoga 9-10:00am   10:15-11:15am breakfast   12:15p depart for day hike    6-7pm slow flow yoga     

WHERE: Meredith, NH 

COST:  $75 includes yoga (before & after hiking), breakfast & hiking with the group

Calling FALL Yogis...

Let's take your OM away from your home and into the woods of New Hampshire's lakes region!  We will be staying in Meredith, NH on beautiful Lake Waukewan amidst the gorgeous fall season of New England.

We will begin our day with the cool autumn air in our lungs on a fall run (optional) followed by a mat practice and then breakfast as a group.  There will be plenty of free time to explore the area on your own, read, write, walk in nature & much more!  In the early evening there will be a second optional yoga practice followed again by dinner as a group.  The latter part of the evenings will be open for you to socialize with the group or do your "OM" thing!  

This retreat is your registration to carve out YOU time before the holiday whirlwind!  You can plan to relax, participate in a hike through the gorgeous foliage of the fall season, enjoy as little or as much exercise as your body and mind desire.  Uluru & I invite you to practice yoga on & off the mat to align your body, heart and mind to work together to put steadiness and vibrant joy in your journey.

Join me for a meditation workshop where we will begin with me as your moving mediation guide through a vinyasa yoga practice and then into a guided meditation finished with a short follow up of shared experiences.
